Just a reminder, the new season starts tonight.
It's a 19 episode final season. FX is technically calling this season 6 and the last 9 episodes season 7.
10 will air this summer, the final 9 will air in summer 2011 and will conclude in time for the 10th anniversary of 9/11. They already completed production on the show.

There was an interview with Leary in the Boston newspaper today. He said Tommy hits bottom in Episode 5 and it is very funny and very disturbing. He also said don't expect a Sopranos ending the last 5 seconds of the show puts a twist on the last 10 years.
I am telling you Tommy died in 911, it is a 6th Sense deal

Or the end of the show they are digging him out of the rubble and now that he has seen his life he has a chance to turn the past 10 years around.
My favorite TV series end so far was Newhart's second show.

That's a great ending. I love it!
There is no better series ending than The Newhart Show. I read that his real life wife actually came up with the idea at a party and proposed it to Suzanne Pleashette, who loved it.

The episode started off hot and leveled off quick. I didn't jbuy the Lenny Clark storyline. If he shot Tommy twice and then threated him again with a gun I would imagine Tommy would be packing by now.

I agree, it just seemed like a weak way to resolve the storyline. I was hoping for something more then him (Teddy) just getting up and leaving.
Why doesn't someone call in an anonymous tip that Teddy is carrying a gun, he's a convicted felon.

Even thou Teddy is a murdering drug addict drunk, dropping a dime in that culture would not be tolerated. Nothing lower than a rat.

I haven't watched it yet. I'll catch it on Demand. I like watching it that way. No commercials and I'm not fighting to stay awake.
