What is Dubstep?
#1
Now many of us are used to the whole two guitars bassist drummer and singer set up I mean let’s face it, it's worked all these years. But recently there has been a type of music emerging from London over the past 10 years or so called Dubstep. Now for those of you who aren't younger than 24 or don't do ecstasy, Dubstep is a branch of drum and bass music but with a heavier bass line and a more computer generated synthesized sound with an occasional vocal track, otherwise known as nerds with a great music program on their laptop who wanted an excuse to listen to drum and bass music but without those insecure feelings that come with it. Seriously this music is like what would happen if Dane Cook went on a 36 hour coke bender, you'd feel lost, confused, and bombarded by random noises. Music sounds better with instruments not computers. Why do you think Stephen Hawking doesn't do karaoke? Look people are going to listen to what they want and if you listen to dubstep good for you, but I personally feel like this music should have stayed in England.
