The short answer is it sucks shipping stuff into Canada, there is paperwork to be filled out where as in the US we throw on a stamp and dump the package in the mailbox. There will be opportunities for Canadians to win stuff on the site later. We are bouncing new ideas off of each other every day.
Right now we donââ¬â¢t have the bandwidth to work all day, run the site and then fill out customs forms all night. I have just taken on some of the shipping duties with Steve and even just doing the US stuff it takes a bit of time
I understand why you are choosing to do this, and I have no quarrel with your decision. I am just asking you to clearly state the contest limitations on the main contest page. If in the future you can re-open the contests to Canadians, great. If not, so be it. The contests are not the main reason I come here, but they are a fun aspect of the forum's social life.
Canada Post is trying to make it easier to ship stuff cross-border. Maybe when you have the time you can check that out. What we do when shipping stuff is to put "gift - used item" on the form. That pretty well deals with customs fees and paperwork. ;)

you're right Speng, I will try to keep the debate down to your age level.
And you started it.

You would get rocks all right. And worse.

My age level or the number of kids you've squeezed out, whichever is higher.
No, you started it by implying some of us have no life outside of here.

Well of course you don't, silly boy. You merely exist to do my bidding. And the sooner you all accept that, the better.
