I don't know about Pau Ferro... Its definitely not close.
Guess any new ones for me will be Maple Fingerboards. I got no issue with that. Probably not going to buy any.
As I remember, there was a rosewood species that could be farmed in Ace's neck of the woods. Its the texture of Rosewood I like.
