It’s going to be a tough fight between Mad Men and Damages for many of the awards in the Drama category. John Adams should take the lion’s share for the Made for TV categories, all of them. Although Raisin in the Sun was also fantastic. 30 Rock is still a fan favorite in the Comedy categories

Who do you think is going to take home the hardware?

I'll have to pass.

We have had cable for just two months, consequently I am completely at sea here. Between my husband mainlining CNN and the teenager bouncing from YTV to Much Music to Slice, I manage to squeeze in the occasional Relic Hunter rerun on Space.

The only shows on the list I have seen are LOST (every episode, downloaded from the internet), Two and a Half Men (seen on vacation in Mexico last Xmas) and three episodes of How I Met Your Mother (my son has the first season on DVD).

Oh, wait...I once saw half of an episode of 30 Rock, it looked promising.

Q: Why are no actors from LOST nominated?
Ooops, I crapped my pants

WTF kind of third world country do you live in that you have to go to Mexico to see Two and a Half Men? It's on here at least three times a day...that's just on broadcast tv on one station, not cable.

Speng, we have led a sheltered life by choice.

Until July we had the cable company's "pre-basic" package: just four TV stations on cable: Canadian Broadcorping Castration (local affiliate), Family Channel (Disney north), Knowledge Network (think: educational) and CPAC (think: political).

In Mexico we got all sorts of channels, although most of them were Spanish. You haven't lived until you've watched "Star Wars" in Spanish with English subtitles. It's a great way to learn Spanish, by the way...although when I said "Luke ... Yo soy tu padre" to the chambermaid she looked at me kinda funny.
