Now every time you buy a beer or a hot dog, you are giving money to the Yankees and Cowboys.

TAMPA, Fla. - The Evil Empire and America's Team have joined forces.

The Yankees and Dallas Cowboys on Monday announced a joint business venture that brings together two of the country's most storied franchises and two of the most bombastic owners in sports history: George Steinbrenner and Jerry Jones.

The Yankees and Cowboys, along with Goldman Sachs and CIC Partners, have formed Legends Hospitality Management, LLC, "a new company that will be focused on operating catering, concessions, retail merchandising and other facility management enterprises for major sports and entertainment facilities," according to a release issued by the Yankees.

Jones is expected to be present at an 11 a.m. press conference at Rockefeller Center on Monday to announce the deal. The ailing Steinbrenner will not be; George's son Hal is expected to represent the Yankees.

The deal was sealed last Monday in a meeting between Jones and George Steinbrenner at the Yankees' spring training complex here in Tampa.

Their is no chance the teams will merge or that the Yankees will be sold to Jones. NFL rules prohibit cross ownership with other sports.

Both teams will be moving into new stadiums in 2009.
