beautifuL!
You all could learn something from this fine example. It won't go away if you don't stop watching it.
Will it blend? That is the question.

You know, there's a reason that it's been the number one show on TV for the past 7 years. If you can get past the bullshit, it's actually pretty good.
I have to admit (if you didn't already know from my annoying columns on the subject), I'm hooked on this show as much as anyone else.
It's one of the few times that my whole family sits down and watches the same thing at the same time.

Also, there's a reason why this thread has 60 views already. Face it, people are interested in this show.
And, I'm about to post a new column on last night's audition show.

I'm not going to give anyone too much shit for watching the show, if you like it, cool. I just find it overhyped, overblown...glorified karaoke. I've seen clips of the show that make me embarrased for some of the contestants.
I'm sure there's crap I watch that people just depise.

Without question, some of the contestants should be embarrased. And in some ways, it is glorified karaoke. But when they get to the final 12, it's some very good performances.
The number of people who are now musical stars that made it to the top 5 of thier perspective season speaks for itself, regardless of what type of music it is.

Wouln't be surprised. She is getting a lot of time on the 'net and in blogs.
I'm sure we'll be seeing more of her, literally and figuratively.

Not looking to start a fight, because I really don't pay much attention to the show. But, it seems a lot of those that make it to the finals don't last very long. Kelly Clarkston has made it a career, but not many, if any, of the others beyond the 2 or 3 album deal they initally sign. The show has a huge following, but it doesn't seem to translate when they go away from the show.
Will it blend? That is the question.
