New Belgium Brewing’s Canning Line Begins Operations

Fort Collins, CO – May 20, 2008 – New Belgium Brewing’s new canning line will roll off its first aluminum cans of Fat Tire Amber Ale today, May 20th. New Belgium, known for its commitment to quality and sustainability, will distribute the cans to limited markets this summer, with cans arriving in Colorado stores by mid-June.

“We are looking forward to introducing our old friend, Fat Tire, in a brand new package,” said Bryan Simpson, spokesperson for New Belgium. “As we fire up the line for our initial runs, we are celebrating the new adventures of Fat Tire.”

What happens when you go to a beach that doesnt allow bottles or New Orleans where you cant drink out of bottles in public. How about next time you fly! This is great news.

If you can't drink from bottles there I'm not showing up..... LOL

I don't usually take anything with me when I fly, I usually have too much other stuff shoved up my ass.

I had my first fat tire a few months ago and absolutely loved it. Its all I drink now. The best part is my favorite watering hole has it on tap.

Where are my Fat Tire cans? this sucks! That is a great session beer that I would have in my fridge all year long but contacted the New Belgium awhile back and they have no plans for there line up reaching MA or anywhere I could drive to within reason, argh!!
