Those morons STILL haven't moved that $260 charge over to my new account, nor did they credit my account the last payment I made almost a month ago, and, to top it off, those fuckers charged me $6 to reconnect my service, which they never should have shut off to begin with.:mad:
I'm calling Direct TV TODAY. Sorry Phillies
I could tell you 5 other people I know going thru the same exact issue right now.
I signed up for RCN that I mentioned above yesterday... they have NFL Network AND Phillies, Flyers, Sixers...
You should see if it is available in your area.

If my daughter gets this job on Team Phanatic, I'll be at a couple of games a week. She won't know for a few more weeks.
It's an internship and she can't start until she's done with school around May 13th, then they have a bunch of away games and won't be back until May 29th, so that's probably the earliest she can start, if she gets it.

The deadline looms...

Will Comcast keep NFL Network?[/url]
Quote:PHILADELPHIA (AP)ââ¬âWithout a last-minute agreement, Thursday will be the last day for Comcast cable-TV customers to view the 24-hour NFL Network.
Comcast and the National Football League are in a court battle over how the nationââ¬â¢s largest cable provider carries the network. Their agreement expires at 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
Comcast says in a statement it is willing to carry the channel under the present terms while the litigation goes on, but the NFL hasnââ¬â¢t accepted the offer.
NFL Network spokesman Dennis Johnson tells The Philadelphia Inquirer the network is willing to talk but as of now will no longer be available to Comcast at midnight.
Comcast wants the channel in a $7-a-month sports package, while the NFL wants it available at no extra charge.
I don't really care since I dumped Comcast on Tuesday.

What did you go with?
I was supposed to get FIOs today, but got an email on Wed telling me that Fios isn't available in my area. I was going to go with DirectTV instead and pick up FIOs when it became available.
The only problem is that the Direct TV package only comes with DSL at a max rate of 3 mps. My PC is downloading almost 8 MPS now with Comcast broadband. That's a huge degradation that I don't think I'm willing to accept.

I got a coupon for 6 PPV Movies and one OnDemand event which tells me negotiations are over. Comcast are fuck shots. I watch the NFL channel all the time especially this time of year so I can avoid all of the boring baseball coverage on ESPN

RCN: www.rcn.com - type in your address to see if they're in your area.
I'm pretty impressed with it so far. Where Comcast had a handful of their movie channels in HD, RCN has all if not most of them. At least all of the good channels are in HD. They also have the local Comcast SportsNet, NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA and NCAA networks as part of the package. The only channel I don't have is that bullshit backup Comcast-only channel that shows the Phillies if CSN broadcasting the Sixers or Flyers. (I still don't see how that is legal) I have every channel there is as part of the deal.
Oh, and internet is 20mbps. All yours, including phone, with a DVR HD box for $129 per month.
