Yard work is killing me
My yard is a disaster, the grass is almost a foot tall in the backyard and the front is scruffy looking. I better tackle that this week. I was dropping subtle hints to my brother to get him to do it, nope...bastard.

Fresh baby bird carcasses all over the lawn today. Fucking neighborhood cats must have found a nest. It looks like they only chewed their heads off. Evil bastards.

I love finding chipmunk, squirrel, vole, mole, field mice, and rabbit parts strewn about our yard....means our cats are earning their keep.

It has been raining here for a week so the Scotts crap with the tons of water has kicked the grass into turbo growth mode. It looked like I was growing wheat in the front yard, no shit in some spots it was a foot deep. I got a couple hour window and cut the grass real quick. The shit was so thick and long it was bogging down the mower. Now of course it is raining again.

I went in the garage yesterday and a cat hissed at me, somehow she got in there and had kittens. I'm not sure how many there are, I only saw one.

British TV series "Top Gear" is known for building some pretty outlandish automotive creations. The latest in that lineage is a Honda FH2620 mower. That doesn't sound very exciting until you learn just how heavily modified it is, from the tires to the engine.

"Top Gear" called in Honda racing group Team Dynamics to help turn the lawn mower into a lawn monster. The steering rack is from a Morris Minor. It got a fresh set of racing wheels and tires. They managed to stuff a VTR 1000cc motorcycle engine into the thing. The theoretical top speed is 130 mph.

The modifications don't end there. The back axle comes from a go-kart. There is one important requirement that can't be overlooked here. This beast of a lawn mower still needs to be able to cut grass. The Honda team dumped the regular metal blades and installed two electric motors with two bits of brake cable attached. Those suckers spin at 4,000 rpm. That might be enough to slice through an entire tree.

Yeah, guess what I'm doing.
