The Rescue Me Thread *SPOILERS*
#91
Securb Wrote:They should have killed Damien in the school last night that would have pushed Sheila over the edge. A crazier Shiela gunning for Tommy for the last episodes would be great.

I never cared for the Damien firefighter plot, I hope they kill him off. Either that or he'll follow up on quitting. There doesn't seem to be any real storylines this season, nothing that doesn't just get resolved offscreen.

The problem is there are no "Holy Shit" moments this season. Like when Tommy tied Shelia up last season or when Lenny Clark punched the lesbian. Of course the big Holy Shit moment was Tommy getting shot. This season kind of lies there. Suck way to end a show. Next week how about Franco bangs Colleen in the dumper then wipes his dick on Tommy's curtains. That would be a Holy Shit moment.

There was a good thirty minutes of classic Rescue Me, sandwiched between all the Tommy crap at the first and last fifteen minutes.

At the end of the last episode they showed previews of the "last episode before the season finale" and all I could think was thank god lets be done with this mess

I've fallen a couple of episodes behind again, but this is not sounding good. I hate when great shows get shitty in the last season or 2. Then you feel forced to watch them because you've invested so much time and emotion in them already. I really hope that doesn't happen here.

So few long running series are great from beginning to end: The Shield, The Wire, Sopranos. I'm sure there are more but I'm only on my 2nd cup of coffee

Finally a good show last night. Looks like they sucked me back in. Let the killing begin! Was Lou talking to Jimmy's ghost in next weeks episode? If Damian is dead Sheila is all done.

The ending was good but it was buried under fifty minutes of Tommy shit again. I missed the Lou talking to Jimmy thing, I'll have to look for that.

I hope they don't do the predictable, Tommy starts drinking and goes to comfort Shelia.

That was a wierd ending. Probably the best episode of the season though, there were actual storylines and things that didn't involve Tommy. There wasn't enough of the guys just talking this season, the whole "Jillion" discussion was funny.

I like the fact they want to schedule time with Damian. That was funny shit. I actually laughed out loud a few times last night. I hated the ending.

I laughed a few times too, which was surprising. The line about watching him at the park and being a statue cracked me up.

Last week would have been a much better season finale. I wonder if they originally planned that as the finale because someone mentioned two months transpiring. That would have been a more natural progression.
