It's quite sad when you can honestly see $10 a gallon in the not too distant future.

How much is it for a gallon of regular for everyone? As of yesterday, it was $4.18....for fucking regular!

I am paying about $3.90 for 93% octane my Lexus won't run right on regular, I have tried it and it bucks and stalls. The wife has a 4 banger Accord that gets great milage and will run on shit gas.

We are sitting at anywhere from $3.86 to 3.99 for Regular and $4.13 to 4.19 for Premium.

When I left PA on Friday morning it had just hit 4.00 for regular. I gassed up at 3.79 a few times on the way to NC. Its about 3.89 on avergae here. I'm sure I'm in for a rude awakening when I get back to the Philly area tomorrow.

Gas is starting to become a problem, and a real economic pressure, for our North American way of life...... but honestly, we have it good here, and have no right to bitch about gas prices. What we pay here is nothing compared to what they're shelling out overseas in Europe.... prices there are easily three times what ours are. People need to smarten up and realize that maybe that 4.3L SUV with the 40 gallon tank isn't the smartest decision, or at all necessary.

you guys left a critical issue off the poll... Brittnay Spears!

I wonder if there is a way to fuel the world with her stupidity?

Well, we kinda do since we have the shit right in our own backyard and aren't drilling for it.

I guess the even bigger issue is... what the fuck are we doing using gasoline-powered engines still in 2008?

I could drive a smaller more fuel efficient car but my cool down after a long day at work is flying down the highway (for 45 miles, each way!) in a high performance sedan. All my life I have driven muscle cars or something similar, I would be frustrated in a 4 cylinder anything for 2 hours a day round trip.

When you look at the history of the automobile it was created for enjoyment and leisure not to be a fuel efficient box to shuttle you back and forth to work in. So for me and my mental health it is absolutely necessary for me to have a little pep in my ride so that my commute is enjoyable and not a dreaded chore. ;)
