Yeah, she'll be around and take a dump all over everything as soon as she is done getting pumped by Himself.

Stupidest sounding thing ever. I know where it comes from, "Hey, where's *Bob* (or whatever the fuck his name is)?"

"Oh, he's out back playing with Himself!"

Hmmmm....

I guess you all missed my earlier thread on Obama. Oh no, wait...a MODERATOR merged it with the Mr. Clean thread.

Although I was rooting for McCain and the Pit Bull, I think Obama will be a fine president. He is a good man.

CHICAGO (Reuters) - U.S. President-elect Barack Obama and vanquished rival John McCain met for the first time since the November 4 election on Monday, pledging to work together to face the financial crisis and other national challenges.

"We're going to have a good conversation about how we can do some work together to fix up the country," Obama said before the two began their closed-door meeting, adding that he wanted to offer his thanks to McCain for "outstanding service" already rendered to the United States.

McCain, when asked generally whether he was hoping to help the Democratic president-elect, replied: "Obviously."

The two men were laughing and joking against a backdrop of American flags at Obama's presidential transition headquarters, a far cry from the bitter back and forth they engaged in during the campai

"Himself" is a traditional Irish way to refer to one's husband, Chef. When we ran the newspaper here 1975 - 80 I wrote a humorous column about our family life; "Himself" was my nickname for Bill. Old habits die hard, I guess.

And if anyone is out back playing with Himself, it had better be me.

how very thoughtful of you to differentiate, but should the quote not then read: "Fucking Canadian"?

That doesn't make it any less irritating or stupid sounding.

I moved it into the other thread. It wasn't so much a thread about Obama, it was a picture of him as Mr. Clean....you already were talking about Mr. Clean...it seemed obvious.

it is no worse than some of the other spousal euphemisms I have seen here.

But since it bothers you, I will come up with some alternatives.

How about the Six Foot Seven Burnin' Hunk o' Love? LOL

Or how about He Who Must Be Obeyed? (nah, scratch that one, too literary for this crowd) (10 point bonus to anyone who can tell me what I am referring to)

Or...wait. It's coming to me. The Sexy Sexagenerian. huge grin

Or I could just call him Bill, as that is, indeed, his name.

I had originally posted it in the Mr. Clean thread, but what I was after was a separate discussion about whether Obama was indeed the first BLACK presidential candidate, or merely an acceptable shade of gray.

...but shucks, Miz Scarlett, it don't make no nevah-mind now.
