Just to show yourself how fucked up this country is, ask people how much you should tip them. Next time you're in Dunkin, ask the chick at the counter how much you should tip her and see what she says. Same for your waitresses and taxi driver and such. People expect alot these days. I did it for a week and was astounded by some of the responses I got. I had a $15 bill for lunch at a diner - I was there for about an hour and had dessert and coffee, the works and I asked about the tip, they waiter said I should give him $10 because I was there a long time and it was slow. Fuck that. I dropped a $20 and said keep the change. I got a $2 coffee from starsucks and the "barista" said I should tip him $2. Fuck that too! 100% tip for doing your job?? He'd walk out with $1000+ per day if everyone did that. This country is going to hell.

Went to Peet’s Coffee this morning to pickup up a couple of coffees. One black and one regular. The girl gives me two black coffees and points me to the condiment station where I can fix the coffees myself. They had the nerve to have the tip jar on the counter and they are giving service one notch below Dunkin Donuts. I have the urge to accidently knock my coffee over on the counter.
