I have to somewhat agree, I mean you have bandwagon fans for every sport if you win you get those casual fans that haven't watched in years to jump on. Case in point I've been buying tickets (the $10 balcony seats of course :p) since my dad starting taking me in the early 90's and now no longer getting tickets, not a bad thing since that means the team is finally good.

And the last few years watching Pierce with Gomes, Jefferson, Rondo, West, etc was actually exciting to have potential young players develop in front of your eyes. But when they made the trade to get KG the NBA video below truely summed up what I felt and man "my goose bumps got goose bumps" thanks Stuart Scott you suck by the way, but thinking the Celtic's are back!!

But the friggin bandwagon fans that haven't watched a game since 1987jumped on the C's this year is disgusting. For me it has always been Celtics, Patriots, and then Red Sox but in this town it is Red Sox, Patriots, then Celtics.

I've never seen so many C's jersey before in my life......well since the late 80's actually. I rarely wear my C's stuff that much anymore in fear that I wil be mistaken for one of the bandwagon fans. The funny thing is you can tell the people that don't watch basketball by the questions I seem to get about the games.

By the way, Celtics win tonight and bring the championship back to Boston after 21 long years. The best scenario for tonight and to stick it too the cocky, arrogant, Phil Jackson and Kobe Bryant would be if the Celtics are up by 10 with 30 seconds left and out of Doc's left jacket pocket he pulls a cigar and lights it up ala Red......How friggin sweet would that be!
