Man, its fucking hot here today... and the AC man just left, just in time.

I found his wallet in my bedroom. I guess he was making sure the air was flowing ok up there... at least thats what my wife thinks.

Crap, more severe weather heading this way...stupid weather.

That was a knuckle biter yesterday, there was a HUGE tornadic thunderstorm slowly making it way towards here. Dozens of swirling clouds on the radar, straight line winds of close to 100 mph...all kinds of nasty shit. The storm kept absorbing smaller storms and getting bigger and bigger, tornado warnings...weathermen freaking out. The damaging part of the storm skirted North of here by just a few miles, but we got hammered by rain. A little more then four inches in less then two hours...flash flooding all over the place.

My power was knocked out a few times, but we got off easy. I had some water in the basement, but that's what basements do..they get wet from time to time.

I'll be back later to bitch about the storms developing right now.

It is 90 here I just dragged the PA system outside so I can crank tunes while I clean the pool. Is it too early to drink........developing :p

Call me bastard next week when I am floating in the pool. Cleaning it sucks. But I found out it's not too early to drink! I have a nice Port Brewing IPA going. Then back to the kegged homebrew. :cool:

We had an above ground pool when I was growing up, cleaning it sucked donkey balls. It was amazing how we'd swim in a scummy ass pool instead of cleaning it, "it's only a little green and we can just fish the dead bird out".

The official rain total (where I am) for the weekend is 7.28 inches, some places had almost twice that amount.

We haven't had a deluge like that since the mid 1980s.

past 4 days here in MD the heat index has been 110. Oh yeah, and my AC on the top floor broke so the 2nd level is hotter than hell
