We had a friggin monsoon this morning. My pants were soaked just walking from the parking lot to the door of my building from all the wind and rain.

Dodged a bullet last night. There was a small area near the lake that was warm enough for most of the precipitation to fall as slush/rain. I spent 15 minutes pushing that crap around and was done. A few miles from here they were buried with a foot of snow...and it's still coming down.

It's all supposed to ice over tonight, that'll be fun.

I started up the Snowblower just to find out I had a snapped shearing pin and cant find the backups because we moved. I said "fuck it" and put in a cheap Chinese bolt that came with some piece of shit something I bought and it snapped just as I was finishing the last 6 inches of driveway.

The guy that lives across the street is getting new windows installed today. :eek: It probably seemed like a good idea a few months ago when it was in the sixties.
