Finally decided to turn on the furnace...yeah, it doesn't work. I'm getting "System Malfunction Contact Technician".
Sonofabitch, it's going to be cold for the next day or two. I'm not calling until Monday, I'm not getting ass-raped for a weekend service call. It's not THAT cold.

woooo, this shit is cranking up!
Schools are closed until at least Wednesday, wife's office is closed, I didn't go in because I can guarantee the power is out and roads are probably flooded on the way. Delaware has closed ALL roads. just a ton of wind and rain so far.

Some southern Jersey shore towns are fucked. The bay met the ocean in some places at the early high tide and it is going to be much worse for the evening.

Not pretty here either. The subway shuts down in an half hour. CT has shut down all major highways I think MA is next. There is already reports of cars blowing across the roads.
O yeah and I got a automated call from Comcast telling there is a possibly my cable will go out. In other news water is wet.

Back on for now, but unfortunately, I'm off to jail for killing my family who can't keep themselves occupied without an internet connection.

No problemo here. No issues whatsoever. Lost power for about 2 hours last evening, that was it. No damage to the house. My neighbor lost his fascia trim, that was the most damage I saw on my block.
It is just really messy out with leaves and branches. A few huge trees went down in the area, but it seems like everything was handled. I'm at work now. |
