We are having very unusual fall weather, with 80 F days (although it drops down to freezing at night)
Not that I'm complaining, mind you...
I just hope we don't have huge amounts of snow by Hallowe'en like we did the past two years.
Ooops, I crapped my pants

It's amazingly pushing 80 degress right now, 10:30 am. Seems like a waste sitting inside watching football when it's so nice outside.....I'll have to drag a tv out there.

As my brother would say, "Four is a number after three, not a temperature."
Will it blend? That is the question.

Ice Storm Cuts Power To 1.25M
Rare Snow Blankets Gulf Coast Cities
The ice storm is over in much of the Northeast, but its effects linger on.
More than 1.25 million homes and businesses are without power, from Maine to Pennsylvania.
Ice Creates Problems In Mass.
States of emergency have been declared in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, where schools are closed and travel disrupted.
The storm brought rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow through Thursday night. In some areas, that miserable mix is continuing Friday.
Fire departments have been responding to reports of transformer explosions, utility poles and wires down, and trees falling on homes. Crews have been so busy dealing with safety hazards like live power lines they haven't been immediately able to begin restoration efforts.

Sorry to hear that, that's really got to suck. Is your house going to be ok, frozen pipes or anything? Any idea when power might be restored?
I wonder if anyone else here is affected.
