Three people were wounded this morning near Iberville and Bourbon streets, the New Orleans Police Department reported.
According to investigators, Eighth District police responded about midnight to a call of shots fired. They found three people shot, all with non-life threatening injuries: a 25-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and a 36-year-old woman. Their names were withheld pending notification of relatives, NOPD spokesman Officer Janssen Valencia said in a news release.
The victims, who told police that they were standing with a crowd when they heard gunshots and observed that they had been struck, were treated and released, Valencia said.

I'm surprised there were no comments about Peyton storming off the field and not shaking any hands after the game.
No one is surprised he's a douche.

3D! Welcome to the Zoo! I was on Xbox Live the other day and saw you on my friends list and I wondered what the F happened to you.
As for Manning, it won't sway anyone's opinion of him. Those who don't like him will call him a douche for doing it, those who love him will just call him a fiery competitor who couldn't take losing.
Th bigger question is, after the national media had been implying that after he wins this Super Bowl he will be the greatest QB of all time, what is he now that he personally pissed the game away?
Thanks for the greeting!
Hype is just that, hype. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say he pissed it away, the Saints were on fire - it was their day to win. The Saints won by more than just one interception for a TD. This can be speculated ad nauseum but it's not what happens, which is unpredictable, but what he does about this loss that can make him a great QB. IMHO

I forgot about your avatar... F'n hilarious!
The thing about football, is that you can make almost any qualitative statement and there is really no proof to support any side. Some say Manning pissed the game away, but you could also say Wayne didn't run his route properly or the offensive line didn't give Manning enough protection or it was a horrible play call in that situation. You can also just say it was a great defensive play. What's the right answer? Who knows, not even the guys on the field most of the time. Bottom line is that it's a team game that QBs get too much credit and too much blame for.
