AFI defines the "gangster film" as a genre that centers on organized crime or maverick criminals in a twentieth century setting. If everyone is cool with that, we'll stick with that definition.
I don't know if there's really any rules, we can change that (and the thread title) as needed. Ok, let's have your picks...

I knew I should have thought about it more before I posted. Damn!!!
Ones I forgot to add: History of Violence The Departed Casino And I liked Godfather II and III about the same, but I hated Coppola's daughter in III. She was awful.
