they've gone way past "adapted for television" and are now balls-deep in "loosely based on" territory, with judicious jismings of "running the franchise into the ground while pocketing all the cash" for flavour.

in particular, this lame attempt at a sub-plot between grey worm and missandei is total bullshit.
in the books they're siblings, and she's 11.
and he's a eunuch, which should make things pretty fucking conclusive.
