During his Wednesday press conference, Patriots coach Bill Belichick was asked how tight end Rob Gronkowski looks this week.

“We haven’t practiced today. We’ve just been sitting in meetings; he looked great sitting in the meeting,” Belichick said.

Cardinals Safety Finds Part Of His Middle Finger In Glove After Tackle

http://lasvegas.cbslocal.com/2013/09/23/...er-tackle/

NEW ORLEANS (CBS Las Vegas) — Ouch.

Arizona Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson lost part of his left middle finger during Sunday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.

According to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic, Johnson’s injury occurred while he was tackling Darren Sproles on a punt return. He realized what happened after he took his glove off and a piece of his finger was still in it.

Johnson had surgery Sunday night, as Somers reports that doctors had to shave the down the bone to repair it.

Since Johnson’s bone was exposed in the gruesome injury, doctors will be watching for a possible infection to develop.

It is not known how long Johnson will be sidelined for.

To add insult to injury, the Cardinals fell to 1-2 on the season after getting pummeled by the Saints 31-7.

Ooh, somebody's new stadium is gonna be haunted...

ANOTHER worker dies on site of new 49ers stadium

Quote:According to NBCBayArea.com, a steelworker died when steel rebar fell on him at the stadium construction site.

He’s the second worker to die on the site, as another man was killed when an elevator counterweight fell on him in June, stopping construction for two days. There were no fines or citations from the previous incident.

According to Peter Melton, spokesman for Cal-OSHA, a subcontractor worked for Gerdau Ameristeel, and the accident was reported at 6:45 a.m. (Pacific).

Our thoughts are with the family of the victim, and the people who have to go back to work there in the future, knowing the site has already claimed two lives.
