The boy saved up his GameStop cards and pulled the trigger on an Xbox One tonight. Haven't hooked it up yet.
It's so heavy...
I guess that is my task tomorrow after work. Bring on the storm.

I don't know if it counts as a console, but the last one I bought was a Nintendo DSi. The last actual console was a Gamecube. I got so burnt out on the whole upgrading every few years.
I see the new consoles and games and I'm blown away by the graphics, but the gameplay doesn't seem as fun as it used to be. I guess I'm just getting old and cranky, I should say probably say older and crankier.

It seems like I had the 360 forever. I got it at launch so end of 2005 until now isn't bad... and he's still going to play it since all his friends are still on it.
You are right about the graphics vs gameplay. I've probably had the most fun on the Wii in the recent years.
