Brett Favre is considering un-hanging it up... again
#81
Ok, then how about this scenario... what is the crowd reaction as he takes the field as the Packers starting QB in the home opener?

I heard an interesting thought on the radio today. What if during training camp, Favre decides he doesn't want to play and goes back into retirement? How much damage would that do to his PR? At this point, he has to play (suit up) for a full season.
Will it blend? That is the question.

I'd say most of the crowd will go nuts applauding and cheering...until he starts throwing interceptions and hurling the ball deep to no one trying to make the big play. Once he starts sucking and they see last year was a fluke, people will start lamenting how he should've been traded.

Packers players fed up with Favre saga

"Mike McCarthy told reporters that after extensive conversations with Favre over the past two days, he has determined that Favre doesn’t have the right mindset to play for the Packers."

The Packers need to let him go and quit trying to get something for him. Show you are truly done with Favre.

Looks like Bucs and Jets have the best deals on the table.

The question is, if/when the Packers pull the trigger on a deal, how does Queen Favre react?

According to his agent, Brett Favre is willing to play for both the Jets and the Buccaneers.

Favre appears resigned to a trade and hopes one is completed by Thursday, so he can get into training camp with his new team. His agent said that he could not see a scenario that involved Favre not playing football this season. The Jets may now be the frontrunners if they are truly offering a much better package, although we're sure that Favre will have a voice in the final decision. Aug. 6 - 10:16 am et

Right now the local media is saying that the Bucs are the frontrunner for a trade, but who the Hell knows.

I'm still thinking Favre is going to retire if he's not happy with the trade....the equivalent of taking his ball and going home.

Trade him to the Canadian league for a gallon of Maple Syrup and a case of Labatts.
Will it blend? That is the question.
