Finally got to experimenting with some of the shimmer presets - Cool stuff, but over the top for me as is. Probably can make something useful out of them.

Next time is probably with the Triaxis - should be here Wednesday. Damn meeting tomorrow when I usually cut out for some stress relief. However I might see if I can get away with multitasking. ;)

Used the H9 at an audition last night for an ambient type of gig and the thing shined. I had the Lester with the WHLs and the SS Marshall. Huge shimmering tones. Suffice to say the band loved it, the gig is mine if I want it.

I am upgrading to the MAX this week. My Space and PitchFactor might be on the auction block soon.

I was thinking about doing that since after the 1st it's an extra $100.

Side note - did you ever wind up getting a controller for your unit? I remember you saying you don't like even plug and play midi controllers, but you should look into an aux switch. You can get them for like 40-50 bucks and it gives you three additional buttons that you can program from the H9 Control app to do whatever you want, from banking up or down to engaging a preset, tap tempo, turning on the tuner, or a whole bunch of other shit.

I have been thinking midi now seeing I could control the H9 and my Source Audio Classic Distortion together. I am thinking those two pedals and my Vol\Wah and I would be good to go for most gigs.

It would be a great option. Something like the Disaster Area DMC-4 would let you make presets across both devices that you can reach call with one tap, and it's a pretty small controller to boot.

I am pretty jelly geez but I saw a controller that is made for those and the Strymon stuff last night in the new April issue of premier guitar. Looked pretty dern handy too. Been a fan of Eventide since I got to play with a first run Harmonizer some 30 years ago or so.

I am wondering how much of the physical memory MAXing out takes up. If Eventide comes out with new algorithms how much space is left for them? Definitely a question I need to ask my friends there.
