*Cough* BULLSHIT!
#1
Is anyone buying this crap?

Quote:There Is More Than One 'Bikini Body' And Every Woman Has One

Amini Terrell did something that she knew would get attention last week. On Hollywood Boulevard, she decided to strip down to a bikini and strut down the road.

She is 260 pounds and wanted to show others that beauty applies to every shape and size.

While Fox News filmed her there were plenty of comments. One man claimed to have lost his appetite by viewing Amini in a bikini. One man said that she is the definition of sexy. One woman thanked her for doing it and one woman said it was embarrassing.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion on this topic. It just showed me one thing: Everyone has a "bikini body," and there is no need to shame yourself into thinking you do not.

Working at a lake/campground, I can assure you that not only is she not the first
lard ass to go out in a bikini, but it's also not a fucking pretty sight.

agreed, pure bullshit.

I don't understand why women feel the need to validate their fatness with this whole "all women are beautiful" bullshit.

some are total bitches and reprenhensible human beings who should be ground into the dust.
some are fat and horribly unhealthy.
some are just pug fugly.
some are all skin and bones and are also horribly unhealthy.

And the same is true of men. But you don't see men bitching and moaning about being accepted for who they are, because we are able to call each other on bullshit.

Physical beauty, IMO, is having the common sense, intelligence and willpower to moderate your eating habits, engage in at least some physical activity and make it so your body isn't struggling to make it through every minute that you force it to keep existing. And I'm sorry, but obesity, morbid obesity, bulimia, and anorexia do not allow you to fall into that category.

Inner beauty is a result of personality and intelligence. You can have a beautiful personality and still be physically clinically retarded. But don't try to tell me that just because you're a wonderful person, that automatically means that your grotesquely unhealthy body somehow qualifies you as beautiful. That is a fuckin load of bollocks.

I agree with the sentiment of this thread. However:

As straight men we will never really understand what it's actually like to be judged every day for how we look like women are.

Overweight people never realize [ admit ] that they're downright unhealty and are putting massive pressure on their body. "big is Beatiful " is an old Mantra now and is the greatest piece of self denial , affirmative shit.

Speaking of BullShit
This
Quote:RUBY ROSE has admitted she doesn’t identify as either a woman or a man and instead describes herself as “gender fluid”.

The 28-year-old model and DJ last week released a short film, Break Free, dealing with the topic of gender identity, which she wrote, produced and starred in.

In the emotive piece, Rose transforms from a buxom blonde with long hair to a heavily tattooed man with short hair.

Her gender transformation to a man looks like an effeminate 13 year old boy and does not resemble a man; more like Justin Beiber when he first appeared.

ok, fair enough, i will concede that most men have no idea what it is like to be a woman being assaulted with media and social norms that tells them they have to look a certain way. Fact remains though, the proportions of your body are something that most people have control over and therefore, can change.

When I lived in Dubai, there were a good few years where I experienced a good deal of racism against myself and my friends. So I know what it's like to be judged (harshly) for being a certain way that's different from others. The colour of my skin is something that I have no control over. But you get past shit like that, because that's life. You can't do anything about it, so you just look past the dickwads telling you you're inferior or whatever, and move on with your life (and hopefully make it so that you have the last laugh some time down the line).

But with bodily health? Fuck that. Most people have the ability to make themselves healthy. If you can change things for the better in your life, you should. If you choose to ignore that opportunity and instead wallow in a vat of mayonnaise and doritos and then complain that society doesn't think you're beautiful, I don't care if you're male, female, transgendered, asexual, klingon, wookiee, or a muthafuckin reptilian humanoid illuminati overlord you're a fuckin slob and you are not physically beautiful.

I am not obese but I am a big guy, working on my weight. You don't seem me bitching about the guys in Jockey underwear ads giving me a negative body image. Or whining about how have buff guys on soap operas and on shows like the bachelor objectify men. You don't see any men bitching about that. You also won't see me squeezing my fat ass in a speedo on Hollywood Boulevard to protest socially prefered body images. I am not built like David Beecham or Tom Brady no one wants to see me in a speedo.

exactly, men are assaulted by just as much social-pressure advertising and media as women are, but we don't get overly sensitive about it, likely because we are men and we just tend to not get overly sensitive about anything except politics, guns, cars, tools, guitars, and assorted other man things.

In the same way that putting a sexy woman on screen or on an ad is sure to garner lots of male attention, putting a hunky guy is sure to attract lots of female attention. It's pretty simple really. Sex sells, regardless of gender. Sure I don't know what it's like to be a woman who is told by the media what I should look like. But I do know what it's like to be a man who is told by the media what I should look like. And that's kinda the same thing.
