It's strange that the limit is so low. It also is weird that you have to empty the trash can after deleting messages. It took me a minute to figure out why I had emptied the in/out boxes yet still showed PMs in the total count.

Can this be set to delete the messages when I tell it to, instead of having to delete the deleted messages from the trash?
Because I said so.

What is an ideal number? I never tinkered with that limit so it was the default.
