Well - You learn somethin'...

Everyday...

The old H9 - Found my setting where I was riding extra dry signal via the mixer via the other bypassed H9 (remember I have 2 of them on a mixer)...

I found an excerpt from the manual in order to use the kill dry you need to use DSP bypass or when you bypass you will be sending dry signal into the mixer.  Well, today I have a more controllable rig.  Less noise, able to drive the Tri Chorus a little harder from the preamp...

Of course that only applied to ignoramuses like me who use multiple H9 units with a mixer, not most users.

I have to go back sometimes - just an amp and cable...

The 1st 7 years were just that. No reverb, only the tremolo on a Vibro Champ.

Do you remember when amplifiers weren't supposed to distort?

I remember the silver face Fender era well...

But Marshalls were in the vogue then.

I don't ever get to touch fancy high end gear. I did play around with the first version of the harmonizer last century after it was way out of date.

They're not all bad... I was thinking about the ultralinear ones. Supers/twins...

I'd take a drip edge or early 70s in a heartbeat.
