MJ made Seymour an eclair. The blogger misunderstood and thought they were pickups.

So?

I didn't even grin, much less chuckle.

Ok. I get that there is something unique about the Eclairs. I'm not sure where all that last batch of suggestions led me. Doesn't sound like the direction I was heading. Between the JB/Jazz, Antiquity JB/Jazz and Concept Set - I was guessing/betting the Eclairs were a variation on the famous set Seymour started with.

My assumption (wrong I suppose) was that MJ didn't throw out the entire humbucker playbook to make the Eclairs. I guessed she might have taken an existing pickup set and tweaked a couple things. That's all. But this thread sure didn't help. ;-)
