White Sd Hotrail neck
Black sd hotrail Bridge
Ultrasonic ref 1 black

So out of the pickups i have what would you go for?

Thanks for all the replies guys.

Those things are extreme. I can only imagine what hell would break out when the dimarzio shockwave boosts them :toast:

I thought maybe i could use the sinner bridge and white sd for the neck position ''If you could call it that'' But yeah two ultra powered singles is something else,

Problem is with a guitar like this is that i have no idea what will compliment its extra octave. The only room i have to play with is the bridge position. I know putting a neck pickup in there might be a bit weak but will it work higher up the register??

My next ERG build will take the extended range even further. And yeah it will have neck tones.

They are extreme to say the least. Do you honestly think you could be happy with two high powered singles in a bridge position? it is gnarly thought

Great so i traded my dimarzio ej for a white sd hotrail for nothing :pissed: I had tried the a sinner in there during the testing phase.

I guess nothing is set in stone only solder.

I suspect you'll find the BKP to be worth trying in that set up.

yeah true, I have modified a few guitars so i can archive this actually.

This one will eventually be SHS :monkey: It had a 24 fret neck which i have converted to 21. Which in turn gave me enough room to fit that single coil between the PG and the bridge. It was a floyd rose too but i plugged it. The cool part is the bridge still goes into the actual body wood not the plugged area.

Here it is before i realized i would need another pickup. The guitar was such a shred weapon.

I had to cut out half of the neck pocket so i could get the single coil right up on an angle against the neck.
