another suggestion...
get whatever new duncans you want...
also get a set of baseplates from mojotone (make sure you get the right polepiece spacing)
transplant the coils, magnet etc to the mojotone baseplates, and cut the tabs on those. If you ever need to sell the duncans, just transplant them back to the original baseplates.

Modify the routes to accept conventional 'bucker mounting tabs.
And then the world (of all 7 string pickups) is your oyster....with perhaps the exception of the soapbar housings
