Now that Strahan has retired the Fins should trade JT for Shockey, JT gets to play for a contender and Shockey gets to play for the man he called a homo. Tyree would be a good trade also.

I wuld think Taylor's trade value would be almost zero by now. a team will get him for a bag of footballs after he announced he's only playing one more season.

So nice to see the Bears cut Benson for being a dumb ass off the field and a dick on it. If only they would get rid of Grossman.
Will it blend? That is the question.

Do the Cowboys need another running back?

You are only going to get one maybe two seasons out of Shockey that is if his knee holds up. Plus with Talyor on the Giants that gets them that much closer to a repeat, even thou I don’t think that will happen. Any "playoff" hopeful team would be happy to have that JT edge for one year including The Eagles :p

I know that the Eagles are interested, but they won't give up anything substantial for him. With the release of Kearse and the probable release of Howard, the D-line is extremely young and could use a vet anchor.

I'm surprised you would want Shockey. He'd be a good fit for a team that needs a few players to get over the hump, but not a team in total rebuild mode.

Hey I just signed up on this site...I'm 24, work in Arlington in Marketing, and I love sports, beer, and especially babes..I guess this site is perfect for me huge grin

Anyways back to this topic...I don't think signing jason taylor would be a smart move. Just look at what the Redskins had done the past several years with their big name signs. They take up a lot of cap space and they don't put in much effort because they know that's the last contract of their career. They don't have the incentive to try to be great and get a bigger contract the next time like the younger guys.

Welcome to the Zoo! We're open to any suggestion you might have as well.

It seems like the NFC East is already well represented on these boards... well, at least represented.
