[quote=EaglesSuck]I don't think we need to worry about that because they ain't making the playoffs at this rate. Their lines are getting manhandled no matter who they line up against. Can't run, can't stop the run, can't pass, can't stop the pass, special teams suck. It's an all out team disaster. This team is about to quit on Wade Phillips if they haven't already. Jerry Jones is a fucking buffoon.

There's a story floating around (Sports Illustrated) that Favre contacted numerous teams that the Packers are playing this season giving them all sorts of information regarding plays and other pertinent information. Of course he denies it but he's know for being full of shit.
People are really turning against him around here. The story that he called Romo about playing injured and that he didn't call Rodgers also has people questioning alot about Favre's character.

So basically, he's acting like a chick who got dumped.

Will it blend? That is the question.

That's what a sports guy on one of the local tv stations said.
The commentators for yesterday's game mentioned his name once, only to point out that they hadn't heard his name at all...and that he didn't seem to be missed.

3 Firings in one year. Seems like a new trend to jump start a team going no where. Hopefully there will be one more in Dallas shortly...

Has Jones ever fired a coach mid-season? He's already said Phillips will coach the season. Probably not a day after it either.

not yet but there is always a first time. If they drop the next two (and they should w/o Romo) & this team doesn't respond. I wouldn't see any benefit in keeping Phillips for the remainder of the season. If Garrett is the heir apparent why not let him take the reigns for the final few games and see if he can light a fire under this bunch. If not then maybe he needs to search elsewhere come the off season.
