Defensive Player of the Year 2007 doesn't make it into the top 50? What kind of fucked up list is this?

He's #7. I assume you mean the 2006 season... but Dancing with the Stars cancelled that out.

Osi Umenyiora was co-hosting ESPN radio's Mike and Mike show yesterday with Eric Kasilias. They were talking about this list. Umenyiora agreed with the top 5, and had good things to say about them all. But he DEFINELTY didn't agree with Mario Williams at #6 or that Michael Strahan wasn't in the Top 10. Of course, he thought he should have been in the top 10 also.

Maybe not in the top 10, but I don't know what he's doing all the way down at #42. He's certainly much better than that. And didn't his team win some big game about 6 months ago??? That should have put more of them on this list. Especially that defense.

I'm curious to see how he plays without Mr. Strahan this year.

Yeah I meant 2006 - Wes Welker he had a great season because Moss was double teamed all season he doesnt belong on that list.

Its the same thing that Gator mentioned about Mario Williams... it would be nice for players to have multiple great seasons first before naming them as the best in the league. But then again, these intent of these lists is to be talked about... and that it is.

Jaguars' Matt Jones is arrested on drug charge

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Matt Jones faces a felony drug charge in Fayetteville, Ark., after police say he was inside a car cutting up cocaine with a credit card.

Jones, 25, and two other men were arrested early Thursday. A police report said officers approached the car and an officer drew his handgun after Jones did not immediately show his hands.

Police said they searched the vehicle and found a plastic bag filled with a white substance that tested positive for cocaine and a jar with possible marijuana residue.
