I have zero income and almost none of the pieces and parts to finish it.When I do things it takes a loong time and generally have to get whatever I can get my hands on to use for parts. I have the truss rod groove cut on it and the trus rod but the fretboard isn't quite right now that I have screwed up the neck. Not to mention that the fretboard is in a barely started status , zero fretworking skill. Never know maybe I will get out of my hole and appear in public this year ?
Just buy cheap parts and get it going. Hardtail gotoh style bridge, Korean tuners. Pre slotted fretboard. sd designed Single pup.
Frets can be done on the cheap too. I level mine with a bit of wood i ran through my jointer. Tape some fine sand paper on and off you go. A crownign file is needed but the rest you could do with hardware stuff.
Get on it ya slut

Why dont you invest a little bit of time and money into it? You dont have to buy all the stuff at once just do it one by one and make it simple.
I can offer some help if you need it. Boinkis what ya think of this becoming a big flannel guitar?
Yo Oinks

I took a chunk out of it with the draw knife when I was cutting it down and broke the huge splinter off. Then I filled it by gluing a piece to it just needs to be sanded down properly will be all right but it will show forever unless it is painted. Not really setup for tools anymore , I can get my hands on them but it takes planning ahead etc. Plus it is a pain to get my brother to cooperate , he is a flailing insane person that runs around like a chicken with his head cut off. Always working so it is hard to get time for a router or planer , jointer etc.I don't have any tools or a shop anymore so it makes things a little screwy. Oh yeah that and I only have assisted in some builds never done an entire build and zero fretwork. Only issue I have with giving it to Flannel is it is my first build and I spent the last cash I ever earned on it. That and if I am going to do it , I will do it right. Babicz TOM for one, 3 Fralin pups, Freeway switch, Planet Waves tuners , graphtech Tusq XL nut , CTS pots , switchcraft jack . Ebony board, MoP block inlays , big fat Stainless steel frets and some Dunlop straplocks and etc... I really want to get Devon setup with something as nice as the geets I have , would be a worthwhile project.

You'll get it straight. I believe in you.
Besides, I have a tendency to be weird about gifts, Raph.

I saw that post. It was definitely a little "stiff" playing before.

I have an idea y'all buy all the pieces and parts we ship them to Raph and he builds it and ships it back to me ?Then we figure out how to pry it from my cold lifeless fingers and give it to Devon?

I could easily do it but it would cost too much for postage/ oh you were joking. Ha! it is still a heap of work to do.
Just get a fretboard glued on. If you go a flat radius it takes a heap of work out of the fretting too.

I prefer a 17" radius but good luck finding one , the board I have in the garage that has frets started in it is 12 to 16 but it doesn't really fit the neck now.
