So LEDs and lasers are out. Maybe it could set itself on fire whenever someone plays it?
Someone should put that in their signature…

A series of small steps ? That is one shitload of work and a whole bunch of it is hand carving wood with very specialized tools. Good luck with this one buddy.

Just make sure it isn't going to rub off with repeated wear in the same spots , finishes have a tendency to do that sometimes. Looks great !

Impossible buddy. The texture you see is material thats been glued then sealed on. So the chances of rubbing through the clear then the sealer then the fabric is slim to bubkis. :shifty:

I guess i could explain how i am doing the rocks. I make my own fabric cotton paper that can run through inkjet printers. I make a design in this case rocks and a ninja star, Glue, Seal it, Carve out the cracks, Paint the cracks black, sand it slightly so some of the black goes over the rocks, Add some subtle highlights, Then Gloss.

This is the image i printed off and used.

You can see here as it runs over the edge and i haven't touched it.

The real deal will be a heap better quality as i will be using a huge wide format printer and not my little pos one at home.
Here are some i did not so long ago.

Thanks it looks ok for test. :monkey::monkey:

I am way out somewhere in a different universe with my perspective. Just wasn't thinking along the lines of what you had done before and how you did it. Ignore me and carry on.
