New Valves Day.
I went and got myself some re-issue Genalex KT88's. My main amp runs them.
They seem good and are comparable to original GE KT88's.
I haven't come to a full conclusion yet but they do seem a litle less clear in the bottom end and not quite as loud overall.
I'm going to work them a bit more before I decide what I think of them.
Left is a re-issue; Right a genuine GEGold Lion.
