How did you like the Super?
I've always been a big fan of fender cleans. And this amp is still in really good condition though it could use some new power tubes
The preamp tube compliment is stock. All ancient RCA 12ax7s if memory serves.

The only thing i don't like is when i try to goose it with some drive...i love the fender cleans but at heart i love marshally kinda drive sounds, and regardless of what kinda EQing i do i cannot get the fender to sound like the drive sound in my head. The midrange of that super reverb is just not suited to the kinda drive i like to hear.

Maybe. It's an extremely loud 40 watts. I only turned it to 2 or 3 last jam.

Coming monday i'm gonna be jamming with a couple more guys and my drummer ao we'll see if it needs to be turned up more. Other guitarist has a 100W Rockerverb sooooo.....

You must be jamming pretty quietly. The last time I jammed I had my Egnater turned up past half, gain all the way up.
