I will for sure.

Dimarzio actually rates them as lower in output than the D Activators, so I'm curious how that's actually gonna translate. I'm sure it's definitely a "grain of salt" type of rating system, but who knows.

I actually got along pretty well with the PAF 7 I had before the current pup so I'm not worried.

Jake Bowen has probably tried everything under the sun, I'd be willing to bet that he knew his shit while developing the Titans. The description of the neck pickup on the dimarzio site pretty much described exactly what I need for this guitar, I'm pretty stoked about that.

I think I'm definitely getting a Titan set for my Mushok, but I'm going to peruse the BKP catalog to find a better match for my neck thru strat than the PG set it currently sports.

Yeah I bet. I was looking at their high output pickups and nothing was really speaking to me. I'm really a hot PAF guy so if I can find one that will work well in super low tunings at high gain I'll be happy. Based on the eq chart and the tone clips it seems like the Black Dog is the pickup for me.

Plus it's called the Black Dog. I was meant to get this pickup.

Less than they were, but they're still $285 shipped from the US.

That's better than the US dealer prices of $320 though... but not by much. But I don't think any US dealers (are allowed to) stock double cream BKPs.
