Positive ground fuzz - edufy me
#1
So if i were to get a fuzz and it was all old school positive ground germanium and if i were using a standard negative ground daisy chain power supply for all my power needs, i can just use a reverse polarity attachment for the power supply and everything would work fine, correct?

I don't need to have an isolated ground or anything right?

Sometimes.

That's pretty much the best answer I can give this early.

Reversing the polarity will work on most fuzz boxes.

However, not all transistor compliments can be daisy chained without adverse effects (constant squeeling, damage, etc).

What are you thinking of going with?

You should be fine.

Of course, since Bonermassage is a pedant, he may have had Dunlop use some "holy grail" transistor set that won't function properly because of "Tone, man."

I'd shoot them an email. I think it'll work, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Realistically, you want to run a fuzz face on a battery anyway.

What is the point of having a pedalboard with a power supply if I'm using batteries?
