And I must say, HOLY TIGHT LOW END BATMAN.
Seriously these are the single tightest sounding pickups I've used. The bridge pickup is lower output than my D-Activator, but I still haven't decided if I care or not.
Also, I figured out what the number 1 problem I was having while wiring this guitar- the fucking volume pot was bad!
The low end on this guitar + this bridge pickup is sooo tight. I haven't fucked with the settings on my rig yet but I have a feeling I'll be dialing in a shitload more bass.

Well, yeah. To an extent. I'm just getting used to the difference between it and my D-Activator at the moment.

I take back my comments about them being almost too tight.
It's tighter than the D-Activator, but more clear and musical in the mid range.
When I was considering adding more bass, I had not realized that I had raised the neck pickup so high that the low B touched the bobbin so whenever I picked hard I was getting a bassless and overly percussive tone. D'OH!

If i wanted a new dimarzio titan form a aus store it would be $150. each. Seriously expensive here and not worth it when i can just get one used when its time.
I have a box of spare pups just so you know. :toast:

More musical meaning: less aggressive, more clear, and very responsive. It's "airier".
