Oh man this is gonna look sick! I love the look of different coloured washers on the machine heads. Two of my guitars are rocking that look

Look at what i found. I need .5mm thick :pissed: maybe ui could grind them down. Green could be cool.

Those blue ones would be cool on the probeus build.

stay with brass. it'll look better with all the other hardware.

I cant find any in the right size. I found those shims but their 0.01mm thick.

Wonder if it would be hard to just grind one down? I bet its hard to hold haha. I guess i could always drill out enough for the nut to go .5mm recessed into the top. I overlooked this part......oooops

No gotoh, The problem is i forgot to take a few mm off the headstock thickness to allow for the extra material and finish. So now the problem is i cant screw the machine head bolts down with the thick washers provided. I have some stainless .5mm washers here which work but i dont want to paint them.

So i need a M8 washer/shim with a 8-10mm ID, 14-16mm OD, Thickness .5mm oi brass or black.

Can you still take some thickness off the back of the headstock or is that not an option?

Its not really an option now. I could recess the washer in the wood as another option
