Sparkly NGD

I scored this at Music Go Round in Natick. It was one of those "this is not my style of guitar, but it's pretty cool" moments that compelled me to go back and buy it later. No regrets so far, and I'm playing some different stuff than usual on this.

It's a MIJ (though I think the bodies on these were MIK) and has a super-thin Wizard neck. I have never had one of these before, and I've been surprised how much faster I can play on this. I thought that was just hype.

It sounds pretty damn good for stock Ibanez pickups, but I haven't fixed the neck pickup mounting situation yet. I also haven't had a good empty house day to crank it up yet, but it would be a perfect excuse to run off Star Spangled Banner for the neighbors.

'Scuse me while I kiss the sky...
Someone should put that in their signature…

they just do too much crappy stuff to warrant me liking them as a company.

Not that paint job though.
