Long deep tenon construction
#1
I was thinking it would be cool to do a guitar with a visible long tenon  right up to the bridge.

I found this one and i think its smart looking :toast:  What do you guys think?

I have a nice QLD maple neck blank here i need to do something with. It would look great with a  hard rock maple fretboard. The contrast of colours would be flip.

Normally designs like that have a cap glued on top to hide it or some bass guitar do that but they normally end the join at the neck pickup.

I think that's badass! I'd prefer an ebony or rosewood board, though.

Dude, go for it. Would you build it just like that, body shape, hardware, and all?

Build a dark wood neck/tenon and a lighter wood body. That'd look so sweet

Hell no!  I was thinking a strat type body with a big  reverse cbs style headstock.
