You obviously don't have a combo CTN. The amp is nice I just am going to have to figure out how to build a 4 button footswitch that changes all 3 channels on/off and turns the reverb on/off. There is a crazy guy that built this freakish footswitch for it with all kinds of info but it is based on 2 buttons for the channels. The 2 button thing bothers me button one does channel clean to crunch and back to clean , ch 2 does crunch to lead and back to crunch. If you have both channels selected (LEDs on) hitting 1 goes to clean and 2 goes to crunch. Pretty annoying with 2 , 2 button switches the second one turns the reverb on and off and the loop on/off , so an accidental button hit shuts off all the effects I have going through the loop which includes my EQ that is always on. And etc... feel free to beat me to death with a stick now plz. I can't sell anything to Flannel Brandon , he isn't buying any of my BS.

Had forgotten about this thread and yet again here I am having issues with my H&K FS2 footswitch. Internet is no help with a schematic or anything pretty much. Resoldered the leads inside getting nothing. It did go crazy when I wiggled the cable near the box once but that was the last I saw of a connection. 2 latching switches with LEDs TRS stereo plug think it is DPDT has 6 terminals. The LEDS light up when I test it with the continuity test on meter. Only find continuity from the plug from the sleeve to one of the wires. Who wants to fix this damn thing for me ?

I don't even know what frikkin country you live in ? I do know that a different switch works in the amp so it isn't the jack ? Makes zero sense ?

Those foot switches can be a real pain in the ass to troubleshoot. If you have one that works for the amp though, you might try just taking the back off that one and having the two switches side-by-side start checking continuity and comparing as you go. That might just shine a little light on the problem.

None of the links work there , I found that first thing but thanks. That is where I started on this switch that worked the day before yesterday BriGuy. Mostly just wanted to point out yet again how much Hughes and Kettner sucks. Make crap in China for 10 bucks sell it to me for $1200 ,no repairs or service in the USA. Blah, blah,blah and etc... I will never buy anything from them. 2 amps and 2 footswitches are about 4 too many things!

You would not believe the issues I keep encountering with this damn footswitch! I went to a friend that is experienced electronics troubleshooter , thought we fixed it and it turns out it won't change the channels after a full reconnection of everything (actually a different switch I bought for $25 to modify) Built on a little piece of plastic board with momentary non latching switches it didn't do much until I held both switches down and everything on the amp lit up. I reversed the 3 prong connector and by touching the plastic switches inside could change the channels and add boost to gain channel. When closed up it didn't work because it has springs around the pin that is inside the metal switch part you step on. I removed the springs and couldn't get it to work right , I tried some bigger screws then I put a couple rubber pedal feet underneath the switches to make them stay in place.After a bunch of tries with different things inside it I went back to the original pins and just put a piece of electrical tape over both of them and it seems to be working even though the channel from clean to gain sticks and the channel switch LED stays lit sometimes. I still have 2 other switches (HK FS-2 and a 2 button Marshall style with LEDs) the HK has a bad cable so I spent my last $20 in the world to get another TRS cable to replace that one. At the $60 or so I spent on the switch when I bought one of their amps(why it is not included? They are cheap money grubbing assholes) $25 for a second switch to modify $20 I spent on a switch from China so I could run both amps at the same time $17.95 for the TRS cable and whatever somewhere around 50 hours of my time is worth trying to repair it (plus the $25 an hour for 3 hours that the expert would normally charge) might be the most expensive footswitch project in recorded history? Blah,blah and blah.Stay safe and have fun kids , at some point this will be resolved if it kills me !
