I actually got these earlier this week, but I didn't have a camera until today.
Anyway, I was getting bored with the pearly gates set in my neck thru Strat, so I decided to do something different. Enter my new P/S/S Strat set from Buddha pickups.
First off, I have to talk about the price. All three pickups cost 96 bucks shipped. That's cheap for mass produced pickups, but considering that these are hand wound to order and fully customizable... It's just ridiculously cheap.
You may notice that I'm only using a toggle switch to control 3 pickups. While that's technically correct , it's actually a Free-way 6 position switch. I mostly got it because I really don't like blade switches - I find them imprecise and easier to maneuver into the wrong position than they should be in the heat of the moment. So with this switch, I have all the normal stray positions plus the awesome sounding neck and bridge position.
I'll get to the tone in a later post. Right now I just want to brag about my new shit. Also thanks to Ryan for turning me on to these awesome pickups.
