I was online earlier on one of my PC's when it suddenly decided to turn off and restart which it didn't do successfully. It just hung.
I turned it off to try a restart but then smelled burning plastic.
I disconnected everything and got it out and started looking inside. I found the problem.
So it's one stuffed motherboard and power supply. I'll have to check the other items, such as the Hard drives and other cards in there for damage but it was all going till it's crash about an hour or so ago.
Buggered if I know why it did this.

That reminds me of a funny story about the time I tried to repair a PC power supply, then "bench tested" it while it was sitting in my lap. It burst into flames a bit too close to my crotch for comfort. Then I stood up and knocked over a glass of water that the PS fell into. New hairdo day.
Here's hoping all your bits are intact...

And don't play with the insides of 240V devices when tripping... although I must say what ever I touched gave me a buzz like I'd never had before.
