We like it but not sure if it will work in the capacity for which it was built. Sounds better with the open back . As a bottom cab for the HK 35 not sure if it is going to work.

It sounds good. I described it as boingy several times.
Very Jensen.

)
And this showed up in my Google newsfeed this morning
http://boingboing.net/ I think I might get a Dark Terror or something like that for the 15 and revise my scheme to add a cab to the HK ? Totally clueless now as usual ?? Seems to like being the single/only speaker for both of the HK combos. Maybe one of those little Orange heads or something like that is in order ?

Any suggestions on a a head around 50 watts for the 1x15 anyone? I was going with the Egnater Tweaker 40 but there are way too many bad reports of quality and customer service for me to do that sight unseen. The speaker is rated at 120 watts so a 60 watt amp would be optimal. I probably could afford $1k on MF at some point by the end of the year as the best option.

Yeah it makes my head spin looking at stuff for so long. I am much more inclined to spend 500 bucks but the options are less then great in that price range. Good choice Karp , 3 channels are a great thing. I do like 3 channels but most amps are not . I do mostly clean channel and low to mid level distortion with one of many options to boost for leads. If I want high gain I can get it from adding pedals. The tweaker was the perfect option but just can't bring myself to buy it. The EVH might be too gainy for me too , I think I would prefer more options for the new addition something with multiple good sounds. Now does any of that make sense ?

I've played both a bit in the rock shop. Jeremy on SD is right about one thing. For a Blues/Blues Rock tone, the Bad Cats are the shit. I've had a harder time trying finding a bad tone than a good one from a Cougar.
The EVH is exactly what you would expect from it. It's still in the vein of those other Eddie V amps. Very good at what it does though. Probably the best yet.
