Back in the late '90s, my wife worked for a packaging company that handled Pinnacle trading cards. Something happened to the packaging company and, short version, they had to "destroy" all inventory on hand. The shop manager was a smart guy, so he told everyone to make sure everything disappears. So, 10 years later and I'm starting to unload a pretty good lot of cards. Some of it is really rare stuff. The one main question I have is it worth getting the very rare stuff certified by Beckett? I saw a posting on e-bay for a signed Chipper Jones card. The bid is up to $85, the card is certified, and the description says it's one of 112. I've got one of those cards. Do you think being certified would make a difference?
